Janie Darby has been a registered nurse for over 30 years.  Prior to her time at Sidney Health Center, she worked in critical care before pursuing a degree in advanced practice nursing.  Her passion for medicine has led her to serve as a preceptor for nurse practitioner students in the area; she also volunteers with the local wrestling team to treat injuries and approve weight certifications.  Janie has been happily married for over 30 years and has two sons, Garrett and Jordan.

In her spare time, Janie loves hiking, kayaking, and hunting, and once ran a marathon right after turning 40.  She also enjoys gardening (despite a questionable skill with plants) and playing with her two black labs, Gator and Gus.
