Sidney Health Center is proud to announce that Jennifer Gravos-Bauer, DPM, has earned Board Certification in Foot and Ankle Surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) — a distinguished achievement that reflects her commitment to surgical excellence and high-quality patient care.
Dr. Gravos-Bauer now joins a select community of more than 7,000 ABFAS-certified foot and ankle surgeons who uphold the highest standards in their field. This certification signifies not only clinical expertise and sound surgical judgment but also a dedication to continuous professional development beyond typical licensure requirements.

Earning initial certification means that Dr. Gravos-Bauer has demonstrated to her peers and the public that she possesses the knowledge, surgical skills, and clinical judgment necessary to provide exceptional foot and ankle care. A recent national survey found that patients consider board certification the most important factor when selecting a foot and ankle surgeon.
The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery is the only foot and ankle surgical board recognized by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) through the Specialty Boards Recognition Committee. Since its founding in 1975, ABFAS has remained committed to protecting public health by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery.
Originally from North Dakota, Dr. Gravos-Bauer earned her undergraduate degree from Minot State University and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. She completed her surgical residency at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota.
Dr. Gravos-Bauer joined Sidney Health Center in September 2022 and has since played an integral role in providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients in the MonDak region. Her areas of specialization include bunions, cavus (high-arch) feet, flatfoot reconstruction, fractures, arthritis, sports injuries, and lower limb deformities.
