Sidney Health Center is pleased to announce that Courtney Miller, AGNP, has joined the Cancer Care team, further strengthening the organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered oncology care close to home.
Courtney will work closely alongside Dr. Aaron Franke, Medical Oncologist, and Jessica Sweetser, FNP, collaborating to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for cancer patients across the region.
“We are proud to welcome Courtney into her new role as an Advanced Practice Provider at Sidney Health Center,” said Jennifer Doty, CEO. “Her experience in oncology care, combined with her deep commitment to our patients, makes her an invaluable addition to our Cancer Care team. Courtney’s growth within our organization reflects both her dedication and our continued investment in expanding access to high-quality cancer care close to home.”
She brings a strong clinical background and a deep passion for oncology to her new role. Courtney earned her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in December 2025 from Maryville University. She is board-certified and holds multiple specialized certifications, including Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification.
Courtney joined Sidney Health Center in January 2021 as an infusion nurse and quickly advanced to Cancer Care Nurse Navigator, where she has guided patients through their cancer journey by coordinating care, providing education, managing complex testing, and supporting patients and families throughout treatment.
Her transition into an Advanced Practice Provider role reflects both her dedication to patients and her recognition of the growing need for expanded oncology services in the region.
“I decided to go back to school after working in Sidney and seeing the need for an advanced practice provider in oncology,” said Courtney. “I’ve always been passionate about healthcare, and oncology has a special place in my heart because of the connections you build with patients while supporting them through some of their most difficult times.”
In her new role, Courtney provides comprehensive oncology care, including new patient consultations, follow-up visits, symptom management, treatment monitoring, medication management, and patient and family education. She is also deeply committed to survivorship care, palliative and supportive services, and helping patients navigate every stage of their cancer journey.
Courtney has a particular interest in inherited cancer genetics and plans to pursue additional certification in this specialty area. She is actively involved in the oncology community, serving as Director at Large for the Frontier Oncology Society and maintaining membership in several professional organizations.
Originally from Florida, Courtney now calls eastern Montana home. She and her husband, Quintin, were married last summer and share a busy family life with her two bonus children. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, kayaking, hiking, and craft projects.
Her addition to the Cancer Care team enhances Sidney Health Center’s ability to provide compassionate, comprehensive oncology services locally, ensuring patients can receive expert care while staying close to home and their support systems.
