Janie Darby, FNP joins orthopedic practice at Sidney Health Center Sidney Health Center is pleased to announce the addition of Janie Darby, Family Nurse Practitioner to its orthopedic services. She joined the orthopedic practice of Dr. Lotfi Ben-Youssef and Dr. James Scott earlier this month.

Rick Haraldson, Sidney Health Center CEO stated, “We are excited to further expand our orthopedic coverage in the clinic with the addition of Janie Darby, [FNP]. She definitely rounds out the care and adds a level of consistency in our orthopedic services.”

As a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Janie evaluates new patients, treats fractures, sees post-operative patients, obtains histories and physicals for patients preparing for surgery, and administers joint injections as needed. In addition, she assists in surgical cases.

Janie graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. After working as an intensive care Registered Nurse for ten years, she went onto get her Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing from Washington State University. She has been practicing for the past nine years with six of those dedicated to working alongside an orthopedic surgeon at Livingston Healthcare.

Janie is married to Darren and they have two children. Her family is planning to relocate following the school year. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and raising Labradors.
