Ashley Braun Earns Wound Care Certifications

We’re proud to recognize Ashley Braun, Hyperbaric Wound Care Supervisor, for her recent accomplishment in becoming a certified wound care nurse through the Organization for Wound Care Nurses. This achievement demonstrates Ashley’s commitment to expanding her expertise in advanced wound management, further enhancing the high-quality care she provides to our patients.

In addition to completing the coursework and testing for her wound care nurse certification, Ashley also completed specialized training and certification in conservative sharp debridement within her nursing scope of practice. This important skill allows her to safely use tools such as scalpels and curettes to remove dead tissue from wounds, an essential step in promoting healing.
