Kerry Reitz Earns Nursing Home Administrator License
August 13, 2025

Sidney Health Center is pleased to announce that Kerry Reitz, Senior Executive of Long-Term Care, has officially earned her Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of Montana.

Reitz recently completed a demanding licensure process that included passing both the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) examinations and the Montana state jurisprudence exam. The rigorous process ensures administrators are proficient in key areas such as resident care, facility operations, quality improvement, leadership, and regulatory compliance.

To become licensed, candidates must pass two nationally recognized exams—the CORE exam, which evaluates foundational healthcare knowledge, and the NHA Line of Service exam, which focuses specifically on nursing home operations. In addition, Montana applicants must complete a comprehensive application documenting at least 1,200 points of education, training, and experience, pass an open-book state jurisprudence exam, and meet all criteria outlined by the Montana Board of Nursing Home Administrators.

Reitz was promoted to Senior Executive of Long-Term Care in July 2024 and currently oversees Extended Care, The Lodge assisted living facility, and Food Services. She brings 32 years of experience at Sidney Health Center to this leadership role, having previously served as a hospital social worker, waiver program leader, and clinic director. Over the past year, she has demonstrated strong leadership and a deep commitment to both residents and staff—guiding teams through regulatory surveys and preparing for licensure.

“As a licensed social worker with a passion for serving the aging population, Kerry has always been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents,” said Jennifer Doty, Sidney Health Center CEO. “Her licensure affirms her qualifications and strengthens our mission to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care with excellence and integrity.”
