Healthworks strives to provide individuals of any age with excellent programming and fitness equipment designed to enhance the health of our members. Currently, we maintain a facility that includes a walking/running track, two racquetball courts, a half basketball court, free weights, weight machines, an aerobics floor, a “Tot Spot,” and cardio equipment. Locker rooms are always available for use by our members, and lockers may be rented at a yearly rate. Healthworks also provides towels to members free of charge at the front desk.
For more information about the memberships, programs, and equipment available at Healthworks, please call our office at (406) 488-4631, or stop in to speak with a staff member.
Cardio Equipment
Seven new treadmills highlight the vastly improved quality of Healthworks’s cardio area. The addition of four Cybex and three Life Fitness treadmills raises our total amount of treadmills to eight, an all-time high for our fitness center. Two new Precor elliptical machines have also been recently added, as well as two upright Cybex bikes. A rowing machine and three steppers round out the cardio equipment available.
Tot Spot
Our “Tot Spot” serves the younger children of our members, who are not quite old enough to use the facility. This area will be receiving vast improvements in the very near future thanks to a grant recently provided to Healthworks by the Foundation for Community Care.
Wellness Programming
Personal Training
If you are not achieving the results that you desire from your current fitness routine, then Healthworks can provide you with a personal trainer, who will help you to reach your goals. Please call our office, or stop in at the front desk for more information about working with a personal trainer.
Group Exercise Classes
Yogilates
Yogilates is a combination of Pilates and Yoga. Pilates is a total body functioning to lengthen, strengthen, and tone body muscles. Yoga is an overall “joining” of your mind and body as one. Together, these simple exercises work both your mind and body, while teaching them to function as one unit. Try the 30-minute class, which is taught by certified instructor, Kristan DeCoudres. Classes are normally scheduled every Monday and Wednesday from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm. We hope to see you there!
P.A.C.E. (Progressive Aerobic Circuit Exercise)
Instructed by Chris Volk, P.A.C.E. provides a total body workout that combines circuit training and weight machines. Use of the class’s sixteen weight machine stations serves to greatly improve muscle strength, endurance, and aerobic fitness. Further information and exact session dates are available by calling Healthworks, or stopping in at our front desk.
Step Aerobics
A low-impact step aerobics class is taught by Sharon Stevens. This class begins at 8:15 am and runs three times per week. Further information and exact session dates are available by calling Healthworks, or stopping in at our front desk.
